   A simple digital watch with a camera
   I was thinking of purchasing a simple digital watch then this comes along with a 1080P video camera so why not. Touch the lower display for 2 sec to power on/off the unit. Quick touch to see the time for 30 sec. A upper side button toggles video/audio and a lower side button toggles audio only recording. Charging takes an hour with no charging complete indication as the battery display shows a charging icon. Remove the charging power then see the 4 bar battery status. The charging cable uses a USB micro-B connection that only goes in one way (not USB-C) so don’t lose it.A single timestamp TIME.TXT file is created for multiple video files. This is manually edited on a PC then the time can be displayed with a Y or N entry to display the time in the video as desired. There is no individual time recorded for each video. To set the clock time plug the unit into the PC then edit and save the TIME.TXT file. Remove the unit and power off (2 sec). Upon powering on the unit will set the clock time from the TIME.TXT file settings. This is different from the instructions as I could not get the unit to power off when connected to the PC.This records avi video files at an average of 630 Mb 5 min each. Audio is wav. My Windows 11 Media Player doesn’t support avi (maybe add a plug-in) and I find the free VLC Media Player with a lot more features is so much better for any type of videos including rotation of videos recorded upside down.The video with good lighting is OK but give it some distance as recording something too close won’t be in focus. The audio is very sensitive easily picking up a conversation 3 meters away. If you are looking for bling this isn’t it with the basic plastic wrist strap. Overall I like this with a blank display without a mfgr’s logo or etched artwork just tap the display button and see the time in easy to read numbers. Fold your arms for stability pointing the camera then record an event without anyone knowing about it. Could be useful.

   Comfortable to wear

   A better recorder
   When I was hiking, I wore this mini video camera and it was comfortable on my hand without affecting my movements. The picture quality was also clear and delicate, and every detail and sound could be recorded very clearly, whether it was the beautiful scenery or the sound of birds. And its automatic overwriting of old files was practical, ensuring that I would not miss any important moments because the storage was full. In short, wearing it while hiking not only records the whole process, but also allows me to use it at any time with peace of mind!

   Interesting little gadget
   I am probably not the best person to review this product as I dont do a lot of mobile video recording so after setting it up and trying it out, I’m not exactly sure what I will use it for that can’t be accomplished by getting out my phone and taking a video.That said, it certainly works fine as a small camera. If actually wearing on your wrist the most difficult thing is to figure out which direction is up, or simply resign yourself to fixing orientation is post processing.For the watch part of this, you need to connect it to a computer where it acts like a usb drive and then edit a txt file to set the initial time. After that it keeps time and date.Video and audio are activated by buttons on the side of the device. You can record video with audio or just audio.Probably the most annoying aspect of the whole thing is you need to physically remove the camera from the wearable band in order to copy off and view the videos and/or audio file.I’m going to have to play with it in different scenarios to see if I actually have a use for it other than surreptitiouslyrecording a meeting or conversation, which I have no intention or desire to do.Hopefully those who do more on the go video recording will look at this and have lots of ideas how to put it to use as it does work fine.
